Kyle is known as one of the industry’s early-adopters into the managed network services space. Guided by his superbly-qualified team, Spectrum continues to evolve, innovate and deliver unsurpassed quality and professionalism to clients.
Current Role
As the company’s Chief Executive, Kyle provides leadership to the executive team and senior management. In addition to his active involvement in the daily operations of the business, he has served as an advisor to multiple industry manufacturers and is the current President of an office technology association representing over 500 independent dealers with over $6 billion in annual sales.
Education & Professional Journey
Kyle started his journey with the company in 1986 as a fresh graduate of The Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Initially joining what was then A.B.Dick Products of El Paso, a small office machines business with 17 employees that had been recently acquired by his father-in-law Marcelo Plesant, Kyle played a key role in its transformation and growth. His path from sales to operations and eventually to executive leadership mirrors the evolution of Spectrum itself.
Family & Personal Interests
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Kyle is the son of a career Army officer and registered nurse, has lived in multiple states and countries and was part of the first graduating class at El Paso’s Hanks High School in 1982. He has been married to his wife Jackie for 37 years and together have 4 children and several grandchildren. Kyle is committed to his faith and the community by making a difference in serving on Christian charitable boards. He enjoys snow skiing, riding dirt-bikes, is a sports enthusiast, has various other business interests and loves loads of fun time with his family and close friends.
